Heavy Equipment Trade Qualifier

This course is intended to update the theoretical knowledge for those who are eligible to challenge the Provincial Journeyperson’s exam. Prerequisites: Approval of eligibility to challenge the exam by the Department of Advanced Education and Skills, Industrial Training Division.
Purpose: To prepare approved Trade Qualifiers and/or Apprentices to challenge the Provincial Journeyperson’s exam.
Duration: 8 weeks (classroom only).
Presentation: The course involves lecture, class discussions and practice tests, and is designed and delivered to maximize the participants’ opportunity to complete the Provincial Journeyperson’s exam successfully.
Outcome: Upon completion of the program, a Professional Development Officer from the Department of Advanced Education and Skills will provide and supervise the Provincial Journeyperson's exam. You must achieve a minimum of 70% to receive your Provincial(Certified Heavy Equipment Operator) certification.
